Class Descriptions

Pilates:  A movement-based exercise performed in a controlled, strong, precise manner to connect mind, body and breath, strengthening the core and improving the body and its overall functions and wellbeing.

Vinyasa: Vinyasa means to link movement to breath, also referred to as 'Flow Yoga'.  In a vinyasa class you will explore many of the traditional yoga postures as you flow from one to another in order to prepare the body for deeper openings with the guidance of your teacher.

Slow Flow is a Vinyasa taught at a strong steady pace ;)
Heated Slow Flow is taught in a room heated to 85 degress for a deeper access to muscular release.

All Levels Vinyasa is a class where the teachers cater to the students needs from offering assistance and modifications to offering advancement in the postures :)

Yin Yoga is focused on the connective tissue in order to create suppleness in the joints.  This is a gentle yet deep stretching experience.

Yoga 101:  This class is a mixture of Iyengar style yoga and Ashtanga (Flow) Yoga.  As a beginner you will have the opportunity to learn and align your form and take it into flow motion with your breath as a focus.  As a seasoned practitioner you will challenge yourself to transcend the ego into the deeper emotional self as you become the witness in the posture.  A strong yet refreshing experience!

Restorative Yoga:  Postures are practiced on props in order to provide effortless yoga to those in need of deep relaxation (I think that includes all of us ;).  It's a fabulous addition to a stronger regular practice, any athletes weekly regimen, and a beautiful place for those in a place of healing, for any reason, to restore balance in mind and body :)
